It’s all about location, atmosphere and comfort. If your house is made for parties,
then go for it (just know you’ll have to organise a hell of a lot more!). But if you’re
keen to get someone to sort it all out for you, Varsity have 6 locations both north and
south of the river. If you’re after a casual, relaxed vibe, then this is the perfect venue
for you.
The downfall to any party is when there isn’t enough food or drinks – or variety to go
around. Our function menu includes all the things you love about our everyday menu
but in bite sized form. We serve our popular burgers as sliders to share, choose from
a variety of platters including our famous fried chicken wings and loads of pizzas on
the menu. We also have gluten free and vegan options available and we can arrange
a bar tab on request.
Unless you’re inviting a group of peeps who already all know each other, your job is
to get everyone talking. Get rid of any awkward moments up front and introduce your
mates to your other mates. It will save you time playing babysitter during the night
and ensure everyone has a good time.
Be present and put the phone down for the night. Taking a few selfies for your IG is
fine, but your guests will take cue from you if you’re swiping all night long! Make sure
you get around to everyone (especially those mates you don’t see as often as you’d
like). A good host will also make sure everyone has a drink in hand and doesn’t go
hungry!
One of the advantages of having your party at a venue like Varsity, is you don’t have
to worry about the clean-up. Once your party is over you can just leave with your
crew and carry on or call it a night. Too easy!
