Fancy a belly full of laughter? Our monthly comedy nights at Varsity Northbridge will have you in stitches! Hosted smack bang in the middle of the month on a Thursday, it’s the best way to break away from your everyday commitments and enjoy a good laugh.
Plus, it’s free entry! All you need to bring is your mates, a good mood and your thirst for a pint or two. Stay tuned on our social media pages for when the next comedy night is happening.

It’s no secret that the arts industry has been hit hard over the last year due to lockdowns and quarantines, it’s been rough to say the least. That’s why we encourage our community to support the creatives by visiting a Fringe show!
Perth is a hub of wildly talented artists and the Fringe festival is clear proof of that. With the borders closed, this year’s Fringe showcases the best talent right here in our neighborhood.
With shows spread across Northbridge, you can begin your night with a good feed from Varsity and then take a quick Uber ride or leisurely stroll to a local event. There’s the Pleasure Garden, Girls School and Northbridge Piazza all hosting different events for you and your friends.

Located on Aberdeen Street, Varsity Northbridge is central to all of the hottest spots in the city. With a feel good ambiance, cosy seating, screens playing sports and the menu you know and love – it’s the perfect place to begin and end your night.
Our Northbridge venue is open 11am until late so you can treat yourself to burgers all night long (certainly beats a late night kebab!).
Keep yourself well fed (with burgers) and hydrated (with freshly poured pints) to keep you energised for that late night Fringe show.
