It’s not just about the number of TVs scattered around the venue to catch all the live action of your favourite sports. For us, atmosphere is everything. Friendly relaxed vibes, decent grub, drink specials and good times all count.

Our famous buffalo wings and burgers lead the way on the menu, while our local brews on tap ensures you're sorted to cheer on whichever team's earned your attention on the day.

We’re unofficially the home of AFL, UFC as well as NBA and NFL which means you can always count on us playing it on the screens.

So, without further ado, here’s our top 10 sports to watch at Varsity.

AFl

With the aftermath of COVID-19 making it hard and near impossible for supporters to get to the hubs and watch live footy this season, Varsity answered the call to play every game live and on demand. No matter what team’s playing, you can catch all the finals action at every Varsity venue. From time to time we also go into the vault and play grand final replays to bring back those winning feels.

UFC

UFC Sundays at Varsity are something of a ritual these days for us and devoted UFC fans. We open our doors early especially for the big bouts and our venues really pack a punch.

SOCCER

From our home grown A-League to English Premier League (EPL) EPL/A- League, FA Cup and the big European competitions, we’re all over soccer at Varsity. Watch out when the big games are on, our loyal soccer crowds pretty much run the show!

NFL

We wouldn’t be an American inspired college bar if we didn’t stream NFL! The atmosphere during NFL season is nuts, and if you’re ever in doubt where to head to watch the Superbowl, all you gotta do is head to your nearest Varsity for a guaranteed good time with your crew.

NBA

Formula 1 (F1)

What kind of supporters would we be of Perth local Daniel Ricciardo if we didn’t stream F1? With the sport no longer on free to air, your next best option is Varsity of course! We stream as many live races as possible within our opening hours plus the qualifying rounds, and we don’t mind hitting the replay button either.

Surfing

The surfing season makes its way around the globe virtually all year round, and we make sure you can catch all of the pro surfing circuit including our local Margaret River Pro, Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach, Quicksilver Pro at Snapper, Billabong Pipeline Masters, and let’s not forget all the Big Wave events.

Cricket

Summer spells cricket and when it’s on we’ve got them on! T20, international test matches, one dayers, The Ashes – Varsity has got your cricket fix sorted!

Major League Baseball (MLB)

Another fan fave is our American sports showcase of major league baseball games, live on our big screens. Our loyal baseball supporters love coming down, so if you’re a baseball fan head on in and get amongst it.

Tennis

Aus Open, Wimbledon, French Open and US Open – you can keep your eyes peeled on all the top men’s and women’s tennis grand slam tournaments right here at Varsity.
