Over September 3rd/4th footy fans everywhere were treated to an absolutely exceptional weekend of footy. A standout performance was Freo’s (73) win over the Bull Dogs (60) who have had a good run with making the Grand Final in the last six seasons… but not this year Doggos.
10th September the Dockers are scheduled to take on the Pies (72) with their loss to Geelong who clawed their way to 78 points. Alongside the match between the Demons and Lions, you’ll want to get into one of our Varsity locations early to be front and center of one of our massive screens. Delivered live and loud, Varsity is the place to be to watch the AFL.

The popular Aussie staple – Chicken Parmi – has stirred quite a bit of attention across the country with the PARMI vs. PARMA debate. But we ain’t having none of it. PARMI all the way. And our Giorgio Parmani takes the dish up another level.
This Burger Of The Month lays the foundation with a garlic bread bun topped with bacon, red onion, caesar dressing, lettuce, mozzarella sticks and – the hero- chicken parmi, topped with an arancini and our signature pickle stick, the Giorgio Parmani nods to all of the classic pub foods… with our Varsity twist.
September 11th marks the long-awaited fight between Khmazat Chimaev and Nate Diaz. It’s going to be an insane fight.
The bookies have 28-year-old Chimaev as the favourite, (11-0) he’s taken the UFC by storm and remains undefeated.. In fact, he stands as no.3 on MMA Fighting’s welterweight rankings.
Although the 37-year-old Diaz (7-1) will be the underdog going into the match, he’s renowned for pulling a rabbit out of his hat. One of his most notable performances was his win against legendary Conor McGregor at UFC 196.
This is a game not to be missed. Mark it in your calendar now: September 24th.
