What Varsity Venue can I hold my function at?
You’re welcome to hold your event at any of our 8 locations conveniently around Perth
Each venue has event space from 20 people up to 110 people. If your event requires a larger capacity, we are able to accommodate, please talk to us today.
Do you cater to food allergies?
Of course, we do. From Vegans, to Gluten free burgers, tell us your requirements and we will work with you to provide a menu for everyone to enjoy!
Can I bring my own catering/ beverages to my function/event?
No, and why would you want to. Our Varsity burgers are the best in the west!
Does Varsity have a minimum spend for Functions/Events?
Yes, while our Function space is free to hire, we do have a minimum spend for groups larger than 20. Our wonderful event experts are happy to work with you on your budget for Catering & beverage spending.
Am I allowed to decorate the function/event space?
Yes decorations are fine in our event spaces! Please do not use any tape to hang your decorations, as it tends to damage our paintwork. Bluetac or string works well. We don’t allow glitter. Sorry folks, this one is just too hard to clean up.
How long will I have the function room/ event space?
Generally speaking, your booking will go for 3-4 hours. If you need longer, please speak to our dedicated event expert who will work with you to extend your booking.
Can I bring a cake to my function?
Of course. We love cake! I mean, we will safely store your cake for your event. We will provide plates/napkins etc. No “cakeage” charge applies.
Can I use the screens in the function/event space to play videos?
Certainly, just bring along a USB on the day and we will play as requested.
Do I have to pay a deposit for my function/event?
Yes, we require a $200 deposit to secure your event date. The outstanding balance must be paid within 14 days prior to your event/ function.
Are children permitted to attend my Function?
Yes! They must remain under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times. They are not permitted to go to the bar under any circumstances. Please ensure management has been notified that minor will be attending your function prior to arrival. Any teenagers need to be presented to management/security on arrival, they will be asked to wear an identifying wristband. IF the parent/guardian is not present, we will require written consent from the parents to be presented on the day of your event/ function.
Can you recommend any suppliers for our event such as photographers, decorations, transport, etc?
Yes, we have a long list of well-known and local suppliers who we would happily recommend. Chat to your event specialist for recommendations.
