It’s been a strong start to the season for the Pies and Melbourne leading the ladder as we enter Week 8. Since 1958, Collingwood has only won two VFL/AFL Premierships in 1990 and 2010 and Melbourne last prevailing in 2020.

Sterling vs Cejudo

Get ready for the ultimate showdown between two of the top bantamweight fighters in the UFC – Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo. On Sunday, May 7th, these two warriors will clash in a highly anticipated fight for the bantamweight title. Sterling, the current champion, will look to defend his title against the former two-division world champion Cejudo in what could be a legacy-defining matchup for both men.

We’ll be screening the fight live on our big Varsity screens, so you won’t miss a moment of the action. 2023 NBA Playoffs
The second round of the NBA playoffs is in full swing after the first round’s epic entertainment, delivering a few surprises that have left us hungry for more.
The first round saw the 8-seed Miami Heat knocking off the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks, who led the NBA with 58 wins in the regular season. The Lakers took the second play-in team to advance when they defeated the second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies with a resounding 40-point victory in game.
8 teams remain in the fight for the Larry O’Brien trophy with Nuggets-Suns, Warriors-Lakers, Knicks-Heat and Celtics-76ers, making up the four second-round matchups. Two series are already underway as the Nuggets and Heat won Game 1s over the weekend.
Save the date for the NBA Finals, which are expected to start June 1 if all goes to plan.
